Duplex / Super Duplex Pressure Vessels

Charles Thompson has the capability to design and manufacture Duplex and Super Duplex pressure vessels of up to 50mm thick and 38m in length and with a maximum weight of 120 tonnes for the offshore oil & gas sector.

Our Duplex/Super Duplex pressure vessels are designed and built to the most stringent client and end user specifications that encompass all aspects of the project from supply chain control, material testing, test piece requirements, fracture mechanics (when applicable) through to welding process monitoring and control requirements, including sour service applications.

Recent projects we have completed include vessels manufactured up to 50mm thick to PD5500, NACE and Norsok requirements in both Duplex and Super Duplex Steels.
