Weld Overlays and Strip Cladding

For materials not sufficiently corrosion resistant to your requirements, Charles Thompson undertakes weld overlays and strip cladding using automated TIG or ElectroSlag welding processes.

We have in house designed equipment suitable to apply ElectroSlag strip cladding weld overlay down to 16″NB diameter vessels and pipework. With TIG overlay the minimum bore diameter we can clad is 2″NB.
